Nowadays, being SINGLE is quite a rare word, especially to teenagers. IN A RELATIONSHIP might be a trend to everyone but for me, it’s not.
Most people say that being SINGLE sucks, that it is a CURSE. But please! seriously? I don’t see anything wrong about being SINGLE.
For me, being SINGLE is a blessing. It is a gift from God. And he is trying to tell me that He is still busy making the perfect love story for me.
Being SINGLE is being HAPPY. Why not? I’d rather stay single than be tricked by a jerk out there. I’d rather keep my current status than to be in a wrong relationship.
Being SINGLE is being PATIENT. Learn to accept the fact that your PRINCE CHARMING/PRINCESS is still searching for you. Stay cool and KEEP CALM for you’re going to meet him/her at the right place and time.
I have been asked a couple of times by random people of this question, ‘ARE YOU SINGLE?’ and when I gave them my answer, which usually goes like this, ‘I’m a certified NO BOYFRIEND SINCE BIRTH.’, disbelief is written all over their faces.
I might be a happy-go-lucky person and a certified Dora the Explorer, but that ends there. I admit that I have a collection of crushes (including, Kimpoy
Feliciano, Daniel Padilla, Enrique Gil, Khalil Ramos, Bri Domingo, Renji Benetton Igna, Dustin Valdez, Kitkat and Kreg Gonzales, Ran Martin, Bret Casdel, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, and a lot more). But despite that fact, I remained single.
It’s not because I am looking for a guy who has the qualities of my crushes, but it’s because I am waiting for that special man who could make me laugh everyday and the main reason why I wake up every morning with a smile on my lips.
I know that it would take years for this ’ guy’ to find his way to me. But I’m not in a rush. I am ready to take things slowly.
Besides, I’m not going to die because of being single. I’ve been living in this world for about 16 years carrying that status and I am still breathing. Thank God!
People today enter in a relationship for a common reason and that is, they don’t want to be alone. Wait, who says being single is being ALONE? I am single but I was never alone. I have my family, my awesome friends, and acquaintances. And for now, I am contented because these people are around me.
Singles, learn to be wait. Keep your cool. Stay in love with yourselves. If that guy/lady is still not around, CHILL. He/She just lost his/her direction towards you. But for sure, he/she will find their way back to you.
As for now, enjoy the life you have. Just like me, I am proud to say I’m single and I’m loving it. And as the title of my profile goes, BENZ ROSETTE is living the single life with no regrets. ♥
